Abra Dickson White is a Creative Technologist currently based out of Northern Ireland. The focus of her practice is to blend the physical and digital worlds to create magical, communal, and thoughtful works.

Her work spans the art and film/TV sectors, and focuses on new technologies, primarily in immersive and interactive mediums. Her specialties include creative programming, interactive painting, game engines, and screen technologies.

Abra studied at Wellesley College where she earned a BA in Media Arts and Sciences (Computer Science Concentration) and in Cinema and Media Studies (Production Concentration). Since then she has worked in the feature film industry, and since 2019 has further expanded her practice to include fine arts.

Career highlights include the Pamela Daniels Fellowship, the Digital Arts Studios Future Labs Residency, ACNI Digital Evolution Grant, and the Northern Ireland Virtual Production Fellowship. Currently, she is a member of the XR Lab at DAS and the Artist Collective.

Abra is eligible to work in the US, UK, and EU.
